Watakushi no Jikoushoukai

Hello, My name is Phill Phelps. I am an electroacoustic musician from Bristol in the UK.
Im studying Music Systems Engineering at the University West Of England, but am always involved in a lot of obscure music projects, most of which were in colaboration with fellow students of CoBC on the Music Technology ND2 course.

My personal website is the Lime Green Documentation Project where you can find lots more information about me, and my life.I have a strong interest in the Japanese language and culture, so a lot of this, and my personal website will have strong Japanese references.

I have a strong fascination with twisting natrual sounds with technology, hence the title electroacoustic musician I like to experiment with new techniques of using old equpment. I like the idea that machines allow me to channel my thoughts and feelings ultimately to an expression delivered in the form of music. I dont like the idea that machines are limited by their original design, and often retro-fit and combine many items of existing technology to make "new" things.
